A condominium is a huge property that has been split into single units for the purpose of selling. So, what distinguishes it from a conventional property? This kind of ownership accounts for a large portion of the variance. In the case of an apartment, for example, a single family purchases not only the unit, but also the ground on which the construction is built. The ownership of a condominium is slightly different. A condominium near one-north is located within a residential structure or neighborhood, but the unit is privately maintained by the property’s owner or landlord. This landlord has no voice in the operation of the examples highlighted or even the patch of land on which his/her business is located. The buildings in one-north all have theme titles, which, although inventive, might be a little confounding, especially for novice cab drivers.

In Singapore, condominiums are one of the most common types of private estate. When compared to public housing, it is distinguished by the availability of common facilities such as private swimming pools, tennis courts, gyms, and security guards on duty. According to a population census, more Singaporeans are living in condominiums near one-north and flats now than a decade ago, and family sizes are heading toward three or fewer individuals. The proportion of households residing in condos and other apartment buildings climbed from 11.5 to 16%.

One-north (lower case preferably) is a cutting-edge R & D hub, business park, education and training centre, and living space. The self-contained mini-city, named after Singapore’s location one degree north of the equator, is a cross between Silicon Valley and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States. In contrast to the Valley’s organic character, one-north has been rigorously master-planned, as is true of most things in Singapore. The first buildings were completed in 2003, after one-north was formally inaugurated in 2001.
